The Successfull applicant will have responsibility for: * Working collaboratively with all members of the Leadership and Management Team to enact the school philosophy and Strategic Plan * Actively participating in learning, research and ongoing professional development that enable you to improve both as a leader and a classroom teacher * Setting and maintaining high standards for student performance by leading your faculty to uphold the spirit of State High with a specific focus on improving learning outcomes and fostering a growth mindset * Leading calibration and moderation practices that build strong alignment between curriculum, pedagogy and assessment * Maintaining and developing productive and positive partnerships with parents, all staff, other government agencies and community groups to maximise each student's performance and potential * Leading the development of quality differentiated learning practices aligned to our school vision, values and pedagogical framework * Promoting a culture of creativity and critical reflection with open, excited, motivated and dynamic conversations * Setting and maintaining a highly supportive and challenging culture that encourages high standards of staff and student performance * Maintaining a high visibility and presence within the school community * Embedding socially just and inclusive practices in daily school life.
