Central Adelaide Local Health Network, Adelaide Salary: TGO1- $24.94 - $35.80 per hour plus 25% casual loading Casual, Contracted Role up to 12 months from start date About the Role As a Sleep Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality diagnostic and research services in the field of sleep disorders. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will focus on supporting referring physicians while ensuring patient-centred care in a respectful and professional environment. Your responsibilities will include organising and conducting home-based sleep studies, as well as in-hospital diagnostic services. This role primarily involves weekday afternoon work, with some requirement for overnight and out-of-hours shifts. You will have the opportunity to work both independently and collaboratively, conducting sleep studies that contribute to accurate diagnoses and improved patient outcomes. About You You are a detail-oriented and reliable healthcare professional with strong analytical skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality diagnostic services. You excel at working both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support patient outcomes. Hold a Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science (or equivalent). Strong problem-solving, organisational and communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail and commitment to service quality. Proven ability to work under pressure, manage competing demands, and demonstrate empathy when dealing with patients and stakeholders. Experience in clinical laboratory settings, physiological measurement, and the use of computers and specialised medical equipment.
