Description About the opportunity Cheil Australia is seeking an organised and detail-oriented People & Culture Administrator to join our team. This role begins as a 12-month contract with the view to transition into a permanent opportunity. You’ll support a broad range of People & Culture activities across the employee lifecycle, while helping us maintain a positive, dynamic workplace. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing employee records, contracts, onboarding, offboarding, and review processes Maintaining and updating HRIS and internal trackers, and ensuring Payroll receives accurate notifications of changes Preparing headcount, turnover and other P&C reports Coordinating social initiatives and events to drive engagement and build our employer brand Supporting recruitment processes, including drafting offers and preparing employment contracts Assisting with learning and development and change management projects Acting as a point of contact for employees on general HR processes, policies and entitlements Providing administrative support across all P&C initiatives and ensuring compliance with internal standards Skills And Experiences What we’re looking for: 1–2 years’ experience in an administrative role (exposure to HR or People & Culture highly regarded) Tertiary qualification in HR, Business or a related discipline (desirable) Experience using a HRIS and confidence working with Excel or Google Sheets Strong planning, organisation and communication skills A team player with high emotional intelligence and a proactive, problem-solving mindset Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion Why join Cheil?
