Project Engineer (Heavy Industrial Engineering / Fabrication to Install) — Wagga Wagga, Wagga Wagga Region

The office is located in Young, NSW, and frequent travel is involved for rural projects. The Opportunity: Project Engineer or Manager required with a background in heavy industrial builds — someone who understands what it takes to get large-scale, steel-heavy projects delivered on time, on budget, and to spec. If you’ve worked your way up from the tools or shop floor into project leadership or are a degree-educated Project Engineer, this is for you. National engineering group that delivers turnkey capital works. This is a full project lifecycle role — from design evaluation and procurement through to fabrication, site installation, and commissioning. The Job: Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and timelines. Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Evaluate engineering designs (structural, civil, mechanical) and flag improvements. Manage project scope, QA documentation, risks, and issues. Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards. Manage project resources, including contractors and equipment. Oversee and coordinate fabrication, structural installation, craneage, and subcontractors Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, and status reports. You: Time served with a trades background OR degree, exposure to Stainless Steel, and concrete. A good understanding of engineering and manufacturing, hydraulics, pneumatics, structural, AND/OR civil engineering would be advantageous. Negotiable salaries on experience - $120 to $150k base package.
