Clinical Support Administrator — Fitzroy, Yarra Area

The Opportunity Clarity Health Care is seeking a proactive and highly organised Clinical Support Administrator to serve as the first point of contact for clients. In this key role, you will manage referrals, coordinate appointments, handle inbound and outbound calls, and provide vital administrative support to our clinicians. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and experienced in a fast-paced healthcare or clinical setting. We currently have opportunities available at both our Fitzroy and Malvern clinics. About us Clarity Health Care is an accredited mental health service delivering a multidisciplinary, responsive program offering care to people with any form of mental health concern or mental illness. Our mental health programs offer psychiatrists, psychologists, occupational therapists, social workers and registered nurses. More important than discipline, is the individual skill of the senior mental health clinicians we employ. Evidence-based care is delivered through outreach services, clinic-based appointments, telehealth and group programs, based on clinical reasoning and need. Due to the design of the workforce at Clarity, collaboration and continuity of care is core to the delivery of the treatment, with the recovery model and bio-psycho-social model being the grounding principles of all care. Key Responsibilities Highly organised team member who will be responsible for supporting the staff and clients at Clarity Health Care Responsible for ensuring the clinic is presented and maintained at a high standard and safety standards are met Answer phone enquiries, manage appointments and welcome our clients into the clinic Support clinicians with various administration tasks Strong administration skills and attention to detail Administration support for our partner programs, including billing, data entry & reporting Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders Understanding of Clarity Health Care services, including referrals, billing, and consultation fees. Maintain strict confidentiality at all times and understand privacy policies Ability to deal with difficult calls and remain calm Enjoy completing tasks and are not afraid to ask the team for help Ability to work autonomously at times Work well in a team environment and are a good communicator About you Minimum 2-3 years experience in an administrative role Thrive working in a fast-paced environment Excellent customer service skills, understanding the different needs of our clients, and having a friendly and empathetic attitude Proficient in using various systems including Word, Excel, PowerPoint/Experience using Halaxy is an advantage Prior experience in billing and maintaining systems using different medical software will be highly regarded. Excellent verbal, written communication and interpersonal skills.
