Volunteer- Mini Bus Driver Reporting to the Practice and Support Coordinator/ Lifestyle Coordinator This role will be based at our Residential Aged Care facility The volunteer function at Jewish Care exists to provide compassionate support and meaningful engagement to individuals and communities in need. Through their contributions, volunteers help foster an inclusive, respectful, and socially responsible environment aligned with Jewish Care’s values. Their involvement strengthens the organisation’s ability to deliver essential services, create positive social connections, and uphold the dignity of those they assist. To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following criteria: You don’t need special skills, just a warm heart and the desire to make a difference Willingness to undergo or provide a National Criminal History Check or NDIS Worker Screening Check Provide two referees (non-family) who can speak to your character Be reliable, compassionate, and enjoy spending time with our clients Commitment to regular volunteering What we're looking for: A warm, friendly and compassionate personality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A responsible approach to following safety guidelines. Promote positive and respectful relationships with residents through friendly and supportive interactions. An understanding and appreciation for the value of companionship and providing emotional support. Ability to quickly report any concerns or incidents to staff.
