Customer Service Officer - FOGO Glass Rollout Various rolls including full time or part time Fixed Term 3-month position at the City of Ballarat Band 4 Salary from $34.46 per hour plus super The City of Ballarat is looking for Customer Service Officers to support the rollout of the incoming Food Organics and Garden Organics (FOGO) and Glass kerbside recycling services to residents. The Role: The role supports the Waste and Environment team by responding to customers’ kerbside waste and recycling services related requests via a range of channels including phone, electronic and face-to-face. About You: T he successful candidate will require exceptional interpersonal skills, strong communication skills, have a great attention to detail and a proven ability to build strong relationships. You will be a positive, dedicated, and professional individual with a passion for providing great customer experiences. Most importantly, you will have a strong sense community and a passion for supporting all customers of the City of Ballarat. Key Selection Crietria: Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practice of customer service and/or call centre environments Demonstrated ability to display empathic listening skills and a high level of written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated experience working with people of culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
