Description About the role The Design Draftsperson will form an integral part of our New Product Development team. This role is responsible for creating and maintaining detailed drawings and 3D modelling of our trailer products. Using design skills to overcome fabrication and manufacturing challenges, the Design Draftsperson will pro-actively collaborate with production and engineer team members to identify and develop innovative, functional solutions. This is a full time, fixed term role for a period of 6 months. Your key responsibilities: Work on new product development projects and deliver 3D modelling (Solidworks) from concept to fabrication. Produce accurate drawings for prototyping and manufacture, relating to our range of trailers Propose creative and effective design solutions Work collaboratively with all stakeholders and the wider manufacturing team. Skills And Experiences What we are looking for: Relevant degree qualification preferred Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience Demonstrated ability to interpret drawings Strong 3D CAD skills, Solidworks experience is an advantage Ability to comfortably work independently, and with the wider R&D design team Ability to work cohesively as a team with excellent communication skills.
