The Company: This fabulous event supplier is the Australian leader in supplying installations, exhibits and designs in their industry. They've been serving their clients for many years, and are looking for an experienced Warehouse & Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. This company creates stunning installations and show-stopping event designs. Position Terms: Full-Time Permanent Role, working 5 days in the warehouse located in the Inner-South Suburbs of Sydney Salary: $75,000 - $85,000 plus super Weekend and outside of hours work for events when required The Role: The Warehouse & Maintenance Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating the NSW Warehouse, including managing seasonal casual team members. The role will be responsible for receiving deliveries, dispatching orders/equipment, and general maintenance of the warehouse. Key Responsibilities include; Assist with unloading of Containers and trucks, including the use of forklifts. Check and validate quality and quantity of received items. Match supplier packing list quantities against initial PO. Confirm acceptance by signing PO or Supplier Packing list. Process Good Receiving Notes for Inbound Deliveries – as delegated by Inbound Logistics Manager ‘Put Away’ delivered items into allocated pallet racks or storage locations. Picking, Packing and Consolidating orders. Thorough routine maintenance, including bins, fire inspections, pest inspections, windows and gutter cleaning. Maintain tidy and clean premises, yards and handstand areas that are free of debris, broken equipment, and/or hazards. Assist in stock control and count activities, including Annual Stock take. Daily warehouse tasks, such as repackaging, counting, and cleaning of stock, products, and deliveries, etc. Ensure sufficient stock of warehouse consumables i.e., pallet wrap, tape, bubble wrap, PPE, etc is maintained. Direct and manage a team of casual staff. The Candidate: The successful candidate will have a background in warehouse management and are skilled in inventory and supply chain management. Experience driving a high reach forklift is essential. Supervisory and/or management experience is highly desirable. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Sound knowledge of inventory and supply chain management. Experience working within the events, exhibition and/or installation sectors is highly desirable. A Full Driver's License is required (a Light Rigid license would be a bonus). A valid forklift licence and experience using a High Reach Forklift is essential. Ability to work outside of normal business hours for events when required.
