The Opportunity With strong growth in our WA region, our Perth branch has an exciting opportunity for a quality focused Welder/Fabricator to join our Forrestdale based workshop team. As a key member of the team, your main role will see you perform fabrication and welding duties on a wide range of construction equipment. You will also be responsible for: Design and fabrication of local options for earthmoving equipment Providing boilermaker and repair tasks to a variety of construction and earthmoving equipment Be able to interpret technical drawings Maintain a clean and safe work environment To be successful in this role you will: Ensure the HCA Safety Culture is embraced, displayed and driven from within - safety takes priority over everything else Hold relevant Australian (or Australian recognised) trade qualifications Have previous experience working with construction, agricultural or mining equipment Previous working with fabrication and welding High Risk Work licences (forklift, dogging, working at heights, etc) – preferred but not essential In return, you will receive: Competitive pay rate plus super company biannual bonuses (pay rate depending on experience) Excellent safe working conditions An opportunity to work with a wide range of Hitachi equipment A permanent long-term career in a growing business A supportive management team that understands the needs of their employees!
