MJD Recruitment is partnering with a leading Australian property investment company to find their next Administrative Assistant within their retail portfolio. Working closely with the Centre Manager and national teams, you’ll help keep daily operations running smoothly—from managing tenant communications and invoicing to preparing reports and supporting key administrative processes. Based at a key retail centre in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs , you’ll also have the flexibility to work from another managed site closer to home, depending on your location. What You’ll Be Doing Manage reception duties, phone calls, emails, mail, and contractor sign-ins Liaise with tenants, from national retailers to local business operators Raise purchase orders, process invoices, and assist with rent rolls and ad hoc charges Coordinate lease audits, compliance documentation, and utility recoveries Support casual mall leasing, charity bookings, and marketing initiatives Assist with maintenance requests and contractor onboarding Minute weekly team meetings, distribute internal communications, and manage office supplies Provide administrative support to the Centre, Operations, and Retail Managers Contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day centre operations with a proactive, hands-on approach Who We’re Looking For Comfortable engaging with a wide range of personalities—from executives to small business owners Naturally solutions-focused, with strong verbal and written communication skills Curious, switched on, and eager to learn Highly organised with strong attention to detail Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams) Ready to Apply?
