About the role We are embarking on a journey to establish a high-performing internal service design team, and we are looking for three talented Service Designers to help bring our forward-thinking vision to life. After working with an external vendor for the past year, we’re ready to build in-house capability as part of a larger transformation program. As a Service Designer within our Design and Optimisation branch, you will play a pivotal role in creating and delivering seamless service experiences that meet both client needs and business goals. You’ll collaborate across teams, including tech, process, and operations, to transform complex challenges into elegant, user-focused solutions. About the Team Reporting to the Senior Project Manager this role sits within Design and Optimisation Branch in the Enterprise Transformation Division. You will be joining a dynamic, fast paced branch who are curious and open to new ways of working. The Enterprise Transformation Division successfully delivers the organisation’s strategic priorities cost effectively and in a way that optimises organisational outcomes, client, employee and provider experience and a positive community impact. The division oversees the Portfolio, Program and Project Delivery for the TAC, as well as the technology development and operations (including digital) for the TAC. What we’re looking for Demonstrated experience in the development and implementation of strategic service design Strong understanding of service design process & activities, and significant experience in applying human-centred design and systems thinking to design and prototype new products and services Demonstrated experience in planning and implementing solutions to drive efficiency while maintaining balance between clients, business and technology A solid grasp on planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns Outstanding Stakeholder Management Excellent stakeholder engagement and the ability to influence and inspire others to learn or understand processes Influence real change.
