Administration Officer — Milton, Brisbane

About the organisation: A national professional association representing professionals across a wide range of disciplines. Our client focuses on providing advocacy, events, professional development and supporting opportunities for research and innovation for its members. About the role: This hands-on administrative role supports the day-to-day operations of a small office, providing frontline support to members, assisting with membership renewals, exams, and general administration. Responsibilities: Provide general administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of the office, including managing incoming phone and email enquiries in a professional and timely manner. Respond to member queries, including following up with lapsed or pending applicants to obtain outstanding information or documentation. Accurately maintain and update member records and application statuses within the CRM. Generate and send formal membership fee notifications, and follow up outstanding payments. Liaise with the membership assessment team by collating and forwarding relevant application materials. Coordinate exam processes, including compiling candidate information, communicating schedules and preparing result notifications. To be successful you will have: Previous experience in administration, customer service, or membership support. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly phone manner. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Confident using databases and Excel for record-keeping and reporting. Ability to follow processes and maintain accurate records. Experience in a membership-based or professional association (highly regarded). Familiarity with IMIS or similar CRM/membership platforms (desirable).
