Your Role: As the Research Officer, you will use your research and analytical skills to develop meaningful insights that will inform school improvement and decision-making across the system. Responsibilities include: * Identifying and collecting data and evidence through interviews, observations, document analysis and desktop research. * Conducting the analysis of data (qualitative and quantitative) in alignment with strategic priorities and needs. * Developing reports, papers, and other outputs tailored to different audiences, in collaboration with a range of stakeholders. * Contributing to the planning, implementation and review of research activities. * Providing support to inform policy development, system performance, and major initiatives. About You: The ideal applicant will have the following key attributes: * Demonstrated critical thinking and analytical skills, including the ability to look at data from different perspectives to draw insights for multiple audiences. * Demonstrated self-accountability, through prioritising, planning, and implementing projects and tasks within timelines. * Openness to change and ability to learn and adjust ways of working to achieve better results. * Proven ability to communicate research findings and insights in a clear, succinct way to people with diverse backgrounds, experiences and expertise. * Experience in initiating and sustaining positive relationships with team members and stakeholders from various backgrounds. * Skills/experience using advanced Excel, NVivo and Power BI will be highly regarded (not mandatory).
