With a growing presence in the Australian retail market, they are excited to showcase their range at an upcoming trade fair and are looking for a reliable Retail Stand Assistant to support this event. The Role As a Retail Stand Assistant, you will play a key role in delivering a premium visitor experience at the trade fair stand. You will support customer engagement, assist with sales, and ensure the stand remains organised, stocked, and visually appealing throughout the event. Key Responsibilities Greet and assist visitors at the stand Provide information about products and answer customer enquiries Demonstrate product features and benefits Process sales transactions (cash and card) Collect customer details for potential follow-up Restock and organise products on display Maintain cleanliness and stand presentation Assist with setup on Day 1 and pack-down on the final day Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations Represent the brand in a professional and positive manner About You Previous retail, sales, or event experience preferred Strong communication and interpersonal skills Customer-focused with a positive, approachable attitude Detail-oriented with a good sense of presentation Reliable, punctual, and available for the full event period Event Details Location: Melbourne Exhibition Centre Dates: 1st August 2025 – 6th August 2025 Hours: 1st August: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM 2nd – 6th August: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pay Rate: Weekdays: $29/hour super Saturday: $35/hour super Sunday: $41/hour super
