Description Process end-to-end payroll for approximately 240 staff on a fortnightly basis Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and internal policies Prepare and distribute payslips and other payroll documentation Address payroll-related queries and resolve issues promptly Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and audits Ensure correct application of awards, enterprise agreements, and statutory requirements Support payroll-related data entry and documentation for the finance team Collaborate with HR and the CEO on contract updates and employee communications Identify opportunities to improve payroll processes and implement efficiencies Profile A successful Payroll Officer should have: Previous experience in end-to-end payroll processing. Knowledge of relevant payroll software (Employment Hero, KeyPay or ELMO) Understanding of Australian payroll legislation and compliance requirements. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines under minimal supervision. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office software.
