About you: In your new role you will * Provide clinical leadership and demonstrate high level management skills in monitoring and prioritising workload demands to enhance the delivery of Social Work services across all clinical areas of Cairns Hospital. * Deliver advanced-level social work services of a highly complex and varied nature, in accordance with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) Code of Ethics; AASW Professional Practice Standards; and relevant AASW Scope/s of Practice. * Apply high-level professional judgement, strategic advocacy and decision making to independently manage a complex caseload, adapting routine and non-routine clinical practice based on valid and reliable clinical evidence. * Lead research, education and professional development programs and activities.
