About the role: As a Thrive Café Attendant , your main responsibility is to support the daily operations of the Thrive Café, ensuring smooth service and an excellent customer experience. How You Will Make an Impact: Greet customers warmly, inform them about specials or new menu items, answer inquiries, and process orders and payments Prepare food items like sandwiches and baked goods, as well as grind coffee beans and brew coffee and tea Deliver friendly, attentive, and courteous service to make every customer feel welcome Continuously gather customer feedback to ensure satisfaction with food and beverage quality Set up and maintain the café’s presentation each morning Prepare the day’s food and beverage offerings Check and verify incoming stock orders as needed Collaborate with the line manager on menu planning, offering ideas to boost customer engagement and sales Clean and restock both work and dining areas, dispose of trash, and sanitize equipment and utensils What You Will Bring: Proven experience as a Barista, along with food handling and customer service skills Knowledge of Safe Food Handling practices What we offer: The Salvos offer eligible employee's a well-balanced package of meaningful benefits including: Salary packaging up to $15,900 tax free $2,650 meal entertainment benefit.
