The Client Sehrish Pty Ltd is a locally owned Muffin Break Bakery Cafe located in Tamworth in NSW. They require a full time Retail Manager to join their team. The Role The Retail Manager is responsible for leading all operations and functions of the retail operations. This rare opportunity will see you take charge and lead by example as you manage and lead the team, and capitalise on business opportunities to grow the business. This role is a full-time position with an annual salary set between $78,000 to $85,000 depending on experience plus superannuation. Responsibilities Leading retail operations for all facets of activity including sales, retail execution, operations, compliance and OH&S Flawlessly implementing the bakery cafe promotional and retail development plans Managing the overall image and standards of the bakery cafe, including implementation and adherence to company policies and procedures Ensuring effective communication through the channel from key stakeholders through your network to ensure focus and delivery on core objectives. Develop strategies in line with company policies, safety standards, and visual merchandising guidelines. Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and escalations professionally. Should be able to communicate with shopping centre management to promote new offers and promotions to attract customers. Motivating and leading the team to connect with customers and provide an amazing and engaging customer service experience. Boost sales and manage store costs by using key performance indicators, reducing losses, and running store operations smoothly Maintain accurate financial records, including sales receipts, EFTPOS and card transactions, and store expenditures Oversee product purchasing and pricing strategies to align with budget goals and drive revenue growth. Keeping track of inventory levels, ensuring that essential ingredients are in stock, and minimizing wastage. Develop strategic staff rosters that balance peak trading hours, employee availability, and budgeted labour costs to ensure seamless store operations Recruiting, training and retaining team members to create a fun, collaborative and success focused culture Requirements Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business or retail management Minimum 3 years' experience in commercial retail management at a Managerial level Minimum of 3 years' people management experience Minimum of 3 years' in managing inventory, stock levels, and reducing shrinkage Minimum of 3 years' in store merchandising, ensuring product placement aligns with store layout and customer preferences Strong operational management background Ability to embrace change at a store level and instil a culture of excitement Demonstrated VM / volume stock management abilities Passion for driving customer service Good time management and attention to detail
