About Us: At Green Li-ion, we’re transforming the way critical materials are recycled. As a global leader in battery rejuvenation and metals recovery, we’ve set our sights on a new challenge: recovering palladium from spent industrial catalysts. We're looking for an experienced and driven Engineering Manager to take this innovative initiative from concept to commercial scale. Your Role: As Engineering Manager, you'll lead our palladium recovery project from pilot through to scale-up. You'll coordinate teams across research, engineering, safety, and operations — ensuring the project runs smoothly, safely, and in line with business goals. What You’ll Do: (a) Lead the entire project lifecycle from planning and testing to full implementation (b) Manage multi-disciplinary teams: R&D, chemical process engineers, external labs, and tech partners (c) Build and oversee project timelines, budgets, KPIs, and risk plans (d) Oversee key recovery phases like chemical leaching, purification, and refining (e) Ensure the project complies with environmental and hazardous materials regulations (f) Regularly communicate with stakeholders to track progress and tackle roadblocks (g) Propose improvements to optimise performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability What We’re Looking For: (a) Degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field (b) 5 years leading projects in chemical processing, hydrometallurgy, or industrial recycling (c) Solid knowledge of metal recovery techniques (e.g., solvent extraction, precipitation, leaching) (d) Prior experience working with industrial catalysts or spent materials is a strong advantage (e) Clear communicator with strong English and stakeholder management skills (f) Familiarity with EHS and environmental compliance (g) PMP or equivalent certification is a bonus (h) Proficiency in project tools like MS Project, Notion, Jira, or Trello Why Green Li-ion: • Help build a cleaner, more sustainable future • Be part of an agile and fast-growing deep-tech company • Work on high-impact projects with real environmental benefits • Collaborate with expert engineers, scientists, and change-makers • Enjoy a competitive package and growth opportunities Ready to make an impact?
