A leading data centre operator is seeking a Senior Critical Facilities Manager to oversee the operations of multi-site mission-critical facilities in Sydney. This senior-level opportunity places you at the centre of operational excellence, innovation, and strategic leadership. You’ll guide a high-performing engineering team while driving safety, service reliability, budget control, and long-term asset performance across the campus. Role responsibilities Lead a team of supervisors and a wider workforce of engineers operating 24/7 across the campus Take responsibility for end-to-end facilities operations across the site, ensuring consistent delivery against SLAs, KPIs, and customer expectations. Oversee vendor performance, contract management, and compliance for projects and ongoing maintenance. Own operational budgets (CAPEX/OPEX) Develop proposals for infrastructure upgrades and capital improvements aligned with business needs Experience required 8 years in highly critical 24/7 facilities or data centres Background in MEP engineering or equivalent experience in technical infrastructure. Strong knowledge of critical infrastructure systems (electrical/mechanical/bms) and the ability to lead technical teams.
