This role will see you as responsible for monitoring and supporting the users and the critical IT systems within Freightways Australia Business units (Allied Express, TIMG, Shred-X/Med-X). This role will deliver efficient, timely customer and system support via multiple channels and platforms, in a modern, ITIL-driven environment, while assisting with cybersecurity initiatives and project work. Your Key Responsibilities Include: • Applies effective and methodical troubleshooting ability to solve IT issues. • Plans, installs, tests and maintains operating systems, application software and management tools, ensuring operational processes are reliable, repeatable, and efficient. • Provides after hours, on-call and escalation support of applicable Freightways 24x7 infrastructure, including system outages and incident response. • Ensures stability and efficiency of platforms and infrastructure utilising proactive logging and monitoring tools. • Works in a Kanban / Scrum team environment, actively participating in team planning sessions, standups and ensuring visibility of work in progress. About you: • 3 years’ experience maintaining mission critical production IT environments. • Excellent communication skills with a customer focused approach to IT support. • Experience using ITSM platforms such as Jira, ManageEngine, as well as experience with cloud networking platforms such as Meraki and UniFi. • Experience as full stack engineer working across all elements of enterprise IT Infrastructure including experience with hardware, storage, network, virtualisation, security, OS, and applications management. • Experience with incident troubleshooting and escalation Requirements of the role – What to highlight in your application. • Technical knowledge across a range of IT Infrastructure best practices. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Proactively learns and trains others in support functions and new technologies. • Ability to demonstrate troubleshooting skills. • High attention to detail whilst working on a wide range of support activities. • Hands on knowledge of the following technologies • Supporting users on Windows 10/11, MacOS and Office 365 environments. • SCCM / other RMM software packaging and software deployments. • Group policy customisation and creation. • PowerShell Scripting What’s in it for you?
