(Pro Rata) ASO2 | Full Time Permanent Contract Administrative Career Opportunity in Mental Health Services at SALHN Seeking an organised and detail-oriented professional to join our Mental Health team as an Administration Officer. In this vital role, you'll provide administrative expertise to support seamless operations and ensure exceptional patient care. About the role: Reporting to the Regional Administrative Manager, this role is responsible for the provision of a customer focussed, effective and efficient reception and administrative support service which contribute to the timely achievement of the SEDS objectives. As the point of first contact with the service the Administrative Services Officer demonstrates a commitment to and experience in providing a standard of excellence in all areas of health sector customer service in this important role. Duties for the role will include: Direct & indirect customer contact/service, managing patient bookings, directing enquiries, typing and preparing confidential medical and administrative correspondence, medical transcription, Medicare & private billing, procurement & maintaining accurate, relevant administrative databases, Contributing to the development of an integrated team approach and culture which is highly responsive to the needs of our consumers, Managing correspondence and filing systems in accordance with legislation and relevant policy and procedures, participating in the preparation of memos, letters, agendas, minutes, submissions, presentations and service development documents, Liaising with other, service providers, health units and external agencies as required About you: Proven high standard of respectful interpersonal communication skills, verbal and written, Advanced problem-solving skills, flexibility and positive manner, Proven, recent experience (within the last 2 years) working within a complex mental health care team environment with minimal supervision, Experience in all areas of contemporary reception and administrative support in a mental health care environment Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
