Mater Foundation has a maximum-term (12 months), part-time (22.8 hours per week) opportunity for a Supporter Care Administrator based in our purpose-built offices in Newstead. These hours can be worked in a variety of ways such as school hours, longer days etc. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with extensive contact centre experience to join our in-house Supporter Care team at Mater Foundation. In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in proactively connecting with our valued community of supporters, with a strong focus on outbound calling. You’ll help ensure that every interaction—whether over the phone, by email, or online—leaves supporters feeling heard, valued, and genuinely appreciated for their individual contribution. What you’ll be doing Mater Foundation’s role is to conduct long-term fundraising programs which enable people to exercise their philanthropy in whatever form and capacity they are able. We do this in order to provide value adding funding for health, education, and research programs in healthcare at Mater; advancing the prevention and treatment of disease and improving the quality of life for people across our community. Reporting to the Supporter Services Manager, your duties will include but not limited to: Conducting outbound and follow-up calls to engage and build meaningful relationships with participants, high-value donors, and lottery VIPs Handling supporter queries across multiple channels, including phone, email, web, mail, and social media Assisting with supporter engagement activities (e.g., welcoming new supporters, thanking donors, clarifying information) Gathering supporter feedback via outbound calls to inform program improvements and test new initiatives (e.g., telemarketing scripts, new product designs Develop and implement process improvements where supporter insights and feedback are sought, captured, and used to develop and enhance our fundraising programs Assist program managers to test and refine lottery or fundraising strategies e.g., seek supporter feedback on new product design or test telemarketing scripting Other administration duties as required About you To succeed in this role, you will bring exceptional verbal and written communication skills, a people-focused approach, and a proven track record in call centre environments, especially in outbound call roles. You are proactive, solutions-focused, and able to think strategically to deliver results—while bringing energy, initiative, and genuine care to every supporter interaction. You will also possess the following: Extensive experience in a contact centre or phone-based customer service role, with a strong grasp of customer service principles, KPIs, CRM systems, and best practices Demonstrated experience in outbound calling—comfortable making high volumes of calls and engaging supporters proactively Experience in complaint resolution, workflow optimisation, and CRM data handling will be highly regarded A continuous improvement mindset, using supporter feedback to refine workflows and uplift experiences Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a warm, professional tone A customer-first approach—always considering the supporter’s perspective The ability to work collaboratively across teams and act as a conduit between supporters and internal stakeholders Sound judgment and strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and respond to real-time issues while maintaining a positive tone Act as conduit between supporters and program managers – work closely with and influence program managers to seek and advocate supporter needs, so we can enhance overall supporter experience Why join us?
