Principal Software Engineer We're currently hiring a Principal Software Engineer to help lead a large-scale digital transformation program for one of Australia's major organisations. This role is part of a high-impact team driving innovation in staff sales and servicing technologies within the Digital arm of the organisation. Role Overview In this hands-on technical leadership role, you'll work within a Digital Tribe to modernise and uplift digital capabilities across the enterprise. You'll partner closely with squads, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver business-critical solutions and grow internal engineering capability. Tech Stack Includes: Java, Spring Boot, React, Node.js, Kafka, SQL, and more - all within a modern Agile/DevOps environment. Key Responsibilities: Drive technical innovation and align engineering strategies with business goals. Advocate for DevOps/CI/CD and continuously improve development workflows. Mentor and develop engineering teams while promoting best practices. Provide expert technical guidance and support hiring across distributed teams.
