Archiving and Data Entry Casual — City, North Canberra

Overview: We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Casual Archival Assistant to support our administrative team. As part of this role, you will be responsible for preparing and sorting student files for archival storage. Key responsibilities File Preparation: Organise and prepare student files for archival by ensuring they meet all specified guidelines and policies. Data Entry: Accurately enter required data into spreadsheets to maintain a digital record of files, ensuring compliance with university policies and procedures. File Sorting: Efficiently sort and categorise physical files on campus to facilitate easy transportation to our central University Archives team. This role requires a commitment of 2-3 days per week working out of Building 80 RMIT City Campus. This role will run for approximately. three to four months. Key Selection Criteria: Strong attention to detail and organisational skills. Proficiency in basic data entry and spreadsheet management. Ability to work independently and efficiently under minimal supervision. Jobs on Campus role – open to current students, who will be enrolled at RMIT throughout 2025. Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children Check and other checks as required by the specific role.
