In this pivotal role, you’ll be responsible for growing the association’s membership base and driving event attendance through proactive outreach and strategic relationship building. About the Role Reporting to the Sales Director, you’ll play a key role in the organisation’s success by delivering high-impact events and increasing membership engagement. This is a diverse, hands-on role where you’ll manage the full sales cycle, from initial outreach to conversion and relationship nurturing. You’ll also collaborate across teams on marketing, partnerships and campaigns. Membership Sales Specialist Responsibilities Driving new membership sales via outbound calls, meetings, referrals, events, and creative campaigns Managing the end-to-end sales process – from prospecting to onboarding Promoting and supporting events, ensuring high attendance and member satisfaction Delivering a warm, engaging experience for every prospective and existing member Contributing to membership and event strategies to meet KPIs and growth targets Maintaining accurate data and insights in the CRM system Supporting the planning and execution of in-person and virtual events Membership Sales Specialist Qualifications A confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills Proven experience in sales, account management or business development, ideally in a membership or events setting A proactive self-starter who enjoys working toward targets and KPIs Experience coordinating or supporting events, both online and in-person Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects Familiarity with CRMs and reporting (experience with Salesforce or similar is a plus) A strong customer service mindset with the ability to build lasting relationships Previous experience in the Not-for-Profit, association or membership sector is desirable Why Join This Organisation?
