The Position The Teacher Assistant (Physical Education) is responsible for providing practical support to the Physical Education Department in relation to preparation of resources, equipment and facilities for regular timetabled classes, school sporting events, and other extra-curricular activities. The position suits a person with a genuine passion for promoting participation of secondary students in physical education, a strong understanding of Work Health and Safety and duty of care requirements to related to sporting activities and strong organisational skills. The position is permanent, part-time (25 hours per week). Usual hours are Monday to Friday during School term-time, 7:00am to 12:00pm, with the ability to be flexible for additional hours as required.
