Junior Engineer — Frankston South, Frankston Area

Primary Location VIC - Frankston South Job Description Summary Service Stream are on the hunt for a new Junior Engineer to join our PenLink team in Frankston South! About the Role Service Stream are looking for a Junior Engineer to support the planning, delivery and management of planned maintenance and capital works projects. This position contributes technical expertise, ensuring compliance against contract and activity specifications, whilst delivering to the program and budget. Graduate engineers are encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities: Assist in managing road maintenance contracts, ensuring works are delivered to the approved works programs, specification and budget. Monitor budgets by tracking expenditures, ensuring alignment with financial forecasts to identify variances and implement corrective actions. Using draft works programs, inspection and survey information, asset data, aerial photography, office-based visualisation tools and site visits to confirm scopes of work. Providing support and site management to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the schedule, and in compliance with all applicable risk controls. Assist in the preparation of monthly internal and external reporting, using data analysis techniques to extract, transform, analyse and present data. Schedule and monitor maintenance tasks, utilising the asset management system to issue works. Confirming and documenting job quality and completion via onsite inspections. Contributing to continuous improvement of programming and management of works. About You: At least one year experience in a mechanical or civil works environment. Experience in managing internal workforces or delivery partners to deliver services to specification, program and budget. Exceptional time-management skills and a proven ability to maintain effective, professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Strong data analytics skills, utilising techniques to analyse and present data in Microsoft Excel. A current Victorian driver’s license is mandatory. A Bachelor of Engineering qualification is mandatory.
