About the Role As the Driver and Logistics Support, you will be responsible for the operation, maintenance and cleaning of vehicles including ambulance and patient transport vehicle and associated specialised equipment. In this role you will: Check and test report on the performance of equipment, vehicles and other systems during duty Transport and distribute medical, pharmaceutical and general stores within and between health facilities Have provision for Non-Emergency Patient Transport (NEPT) to Defence members in accordance with the Defence policy Be responsible for ordering and receipting of medical dental and general stores using the Defence statutory inventory management systems Pick, pack, issue and dispatch medical, dental and general stores to satisfy orders from dependencies As the ideal applicant you will have: At least 2 years' experience in stores, logistics, and a transport role Hold a current and valid driver's licence Australian Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a defence security clearance. About the Location Robertson Health Centre is located on Robertson Barracks in Holtze, 15 km east of the city of Darwin. The facility has a routine dependency of approximately 2,800 defence staff, with a large reserve component. The Barracks also accommodates an additional 2,500 US marines every 6 months from May to September. The health centre provides primary medical, pharmaceutical, dental, physiotherapy, and mental health services, and operates a 22-bed 24/7 ward. Standard operating hours are 0730-1530, Monday-Friday.
