With focus on one of our top clients, the Lead/Senior Experience Designer drives the end-to-end experience strategy - uniting design, strategy, and technology teams to deliver moments that matter across every customer touchpoint. Equal parts creative visionary and technical problem-solver, they translate insight into commercially viable experiences, mentor cross-functional teams, and act as a trusted advisor to senior-level client stakeholders. They champion a culture of open feedback, continuous learning, and measurable impact while uncovering new growth opportunities for both the client and Akcelo. Key Responsibilities Own workshop agendas and serve as lead facilitator —including C-suite sessions—adapting in real time to achieve outcomes. Build trusted senior-client relationships; act as day-to-day engagement lead. Proactively surface and shape new opportunities, leading pitches, RFPs and informal growth conversations. Craft compelling narratives that connect customer insight, business value, and Akcelo’s propositions. Interrogate briefs, reframe customer problems, and set north-star visions, experience principles, and prioritisation frameworks. Guide proposition development, journey / service maps, segmentation-to-persona work, and measurement plans. Oversee research design (surveys, qual & quant), synthesis, and insight generation; ensure rigor and relevance. Deliver amazing and class-defining digital and physical experiences that reach millions of Australians every single day. Craft, review and elevate all design artefacts (information architecture, prototypes, design-system contributions, usability reports, etc.). Embed measurement of Moments-that-Matter and continuously optimise against KPIs. Provide constructive critique across the account to lift craft and strategic clarity.
