Teacher of Senior Economics and Business Permanent Full Time Are you a passionate and experienced educator ready to lead and inspire the next generation of women as future business leaders and economists? At Hilda’s School is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Senior Economics and Business Teacher to join our dedicated team of educators and contribute to our high-performing Faculty. This position is available to commence from 11 August 2025, or as soon as possible and is a permanent ongoing position. We would also welcome interest from suitable candidates for a term 3 and/or term 4 contract in 2025. The ideal candidate will be capable of delivery engaging and inclusive curriculum to senior year levels using data informed practice to drive continuous improvement for our students. A high-quality educator with the qualifications to teach Economics and Business at senior level (Years 11 and 12) with proven academic outcomes, and who will challenge and extend our girls’ love of learning Strong curriculum knowledge and pedagogical practices Highly organised, flexible and demonstrated proven ability to use technology in the classroom Able to work autonomously and collaboratively and committed to professional development Experienced with pedagogy associated with girls’ education and be able to assist students in fostering a love and appreciation of the subject area Supportive of the Code of Conduct and the stated values and Anglican Ethos of the School Must hold Queensland College of Teachers registration. The successful applicant must be willing to have their name submitted to the Anglican Church’s Professional Standards Register.
