The Role Operating a pivotal position within a successful commercial legal team, the successful candidate will work autonomously; managing key aspects of client matters and acting as a trusted liaison between lawyers, clients, and external stakeholders. They will be a crucial part of a pivotal team and will utilise their organisational skills, initiative, judgement, and multitasking ability to keep things moving successfully behind the scenes, whilst ensuring that the client experience is always exceptional. Key Responsibilities will include: Manage end-to-end file administration, from matter inception to close Draft, edit and format a range of legal and financial documents, including facility agreements and securities documentation Utilise systems such as PEXA to facilitate smooth conveyancing and transaction processes Act as a key point of contact for clients, coordinating document flow, managing timelines, and responding to queries professionally Handle billing, trust accounting processes, and reporting with minimal supervision Proactively manage lawyer schedules, including meetings with financial institutions and clients Assist in transaction coordination, due diligence, and collation of execution documents This then, will be a highly varied and multifaceted role which would best suit an individual with high levels of organisation, who can work both autonomously and as part of a high-performing team. Your Profile The successful candidate will be an administration or legal support professional with demonstrated experience working as a legal secretary or legal assistant. They will ideally bring some commercial experience and have some knowledge or experience in dealing with documentation pertaining to banking, finance, commercial, or transactional practice areas.
