THE ROLE - WAREHOUSE SUPERVISOR Our client is looking for a meticulous and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join the team in Brisbane. This full-time, permanent role is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented who wants to contribute to efficient logistics operations. As Warehouse Supervisor, you’ll be responsible for overseeing and coordinating day-to-day activities in the warehouse. Key responsibilities include: Operate a forklift to unload and load trucks with dispatch orders or incoming stock. Assist operations with fulfilment and quality control. Take responsibility for the maintenance and cleanliness of the forklift use operated that day Ensure Waste bin schedule is being followed, organise any additional picks as required Manage waste and recycling of the department. Undertake occasional local deliveries as required. Be vigilant at all times that the correct stock has been picked and loaded for dispatch. Rotate stock into date order to ensure FIFO stock control (First In, First Out) Assist on checking correct labelling requirements are bein met (a date code, GRN label, grower traceability) Keep inside and outside of warehouse tidy and safe. Ensure all customer purchase orders are processed in a timely manner. Manage all incoming emails / phone calls and urgently action all changes to purchase orders (PO) Book freight with transport companies and advise PO details as required. Maintain daily incoming and outgoing records and cross refencing stock levels. WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED Current Forklift licence Current Drivers licence Current HR truck licence Forklift Licence (required) / MR (desirable) Experience in a fresh produce environment preferred. 1-2 years previous Warehouse Supervisor experience Good time management and planning capability Good communication and collaboration skills Attention to detail & accuracy Ability to manage competing priorities Ability to supervise workers Ability to comply with Company policies and procedures and related legislative requirements THE ESSENTIALS Roster: Monday to Friday: 12:00 AM - 08:00 AM Parking: Available Pay frequency: Fortnightly Employment status: Permanent Full Time READY TO MAKE THE MOVE?
