About the Role We’re seeking Male Support Workers to support high school-aged male participants with before/after school routines, community access, companionship, and capacity building. Position Details As a Disability Support Worker at Lifeful we can offer a variety of shifts depending on your availability and match with the Participants we support. For this specific role we are however ideally seeking Support Workers who can work some or all of the following shifts. Shifts Available: 7:30 AM – 9:30 AM Monday - Friday 2:30 PM – 6:30 PM Monday - Friday Responsibilities: Provide before and after school support to young participants in their home and local community. Offer positive role modelling and age-appropriate mentoring to build trust and rapport. Support participants in developing daily living skills, emotional regulation, and independence. Encourage and facilitate social inclusion, friendship building, and community participation. Implement strategies aligned with participants’ NDIS goals and behaviour support plans. Collaborate with families, therapists, and the LifeFul team to ensure consistent, person-centered support. Maintain accurate shift notes and incident reports in line with NDIS and LifeFul requirements. All other duties and responsibilities reasonably required of a NDIS Support Worker. Qualifications and Experience: Cert III or above in Disability, Individual Support or similar OR relevant experience. Experience in supporting younger NDIS Participants with community access.
