About the role As a Relief Receptionist, this is your opportunity to provide administrative support to the Corps Officers and general Corps administrative duties. You will be responsible in helping create a welcoming environment for persons accessing our services, either in person or by phone; and project a spirit and image of The Salvation Army Ingle Farm as courteous, efficient and effective. Reporting to the Corps Officers, this is a casual onsite role, located in Ingle Farm, SA. How you will make an impact Take responsibility for all reception duties, including staff, clients, centre visitors, contractors etc. Maintains positive relationships with the staff and volunteers ensuring that information is effectively communicated. Hospitality offered to guest while waiting. Receive all incoming phone calls and switch them to appropriate personnel promptly. Take messages for all unavailable staff and effectively communicate that information. What you will bring Effective computer literacy and familiarity with systems including email systems, Microsoft Office suite Knowledge of office procedures. Excellent telephone manner. The ability to work constructively as part of a team.
