We're seeking a Systems Engineer to support a key Defence program within EW domain. This is a contract opportunity based out of Edinburgh Parks, offering the opportunity to contribute to a technically challenging and meaningful project. Our client is looking for someone who's confident working across systems design, requirements management, and V&V activities within a Defence environment. Other Details Contract role - initial 6-month engagement Based at RAAF Base Edinburgh July start NV1 clearance minimum Key Responsibilities Deliver systems engineering across requirements, integration, and V&V Develop and update specifications in DOORS Build and manage DOORS traceability across the full system spec set Support system design and architecture development, including trade studies Conduct V&V planning, write test procedures, and support certification activities Maintain VCRM documentation and manage ECP workflows Participate in working groups with CoA, and other industry stakeholders Skills & Experience Degree in Engineering or relevant industry experience Minimum 4 years in a systems engineering role Strong DOORS skills essential Solid understanding of the Systems Engineering lifecycle within Defence Comfortable managing system specs, test planning, and engaging across project teams If you're an experienced Systems Engineer with a Defence background and you're ready to jump into a new role, I'd love to hear from you.
