The Legal Administration Officer will play a pivotal role in providing administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of legal processes within a not-for-profit organisation. This role is based in Perth's inner-western suburbs and requires experience with ActionStep to deliver efficient and accurate administrative services. Description Provide comprehensive administrative support to the legal team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately. Manage and maintain the ActionStep system, including data entry, updates, and reporting. Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and reports as required. Coordinate meetings, appointments, and schedules for the legal department. Maintain and update filing systems, both digital and physical, to ensure accessibility and compliance. Respond to internal and external inquiries promptly and professionally. Assist with project coordination and other adhoc administrative tasks as directed. Support the team in maintaining confidentiality and adherence to organisational policies. Profile A successful Legal Administration Officer should have: Experience using ActionStep and Advanced Microsoft Suite Software knowledge. Prior experience in legal administration or a similar role within the not-for-profit sector is preferred. Certificate IV in Legal Services or equivalent qualification desirable. Current National Police Clearance Certificate. Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. Adaptability and a proactive approach to managing competing priorities.
