In this versatile position, our Process Engineer will offer technical assistance to the daily production and operational procedures for our production lab with the primary objective to guarantee that we meet the required performance and quality standards. To achieve this, our Process Engineer will aid in projects related to enhancing manufacturing capacity in our Silverwater facility. This includes establishing processes and validations, as well as coordinating with the Quality team to meet product quality standards according to ISO norms. Requirements for Success Measure and improve production performance, focusing on KPIs such as Yields/Defect rate, to meet the lab performance goals Manage the maintenance budget, with a specific emphasis on spare parts management Solve problems using standard engineering methods and techniques, maintaining strong communication with our technical support teams Prepare engineering studies and develop new designs and procedures for equipment, utilities, and process systems. Analyse the operation of existing systems based on preliminary review and user requirements Utilize Lean Sigma tools to identify root causes of quality issues and implement timely, permanent solutions Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives, with a specific focus on product quality Provide technical advice on plant, equipment, tools, products, processes, and materials Skills & Experience Engineering degree in either Mechanical, Electrical or Similar 2 years’ experience in a production facility or medical device manufacturing industry Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail S Strong project management and technical engineering skills KPI driven with a structured problem solving approach Sound understanding in Lean Principles Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills Optical qualification or understanding of Optics is highly desirable To be considered for this opportunity, please click apply and send your cover letter and resume today.
