Senior Security Engineer — Melbourne, Melbourne Region

We are seeking a skilled CyberArk Engineer to join our client's cybersecurity team and lead the implementation, integration, and management of Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in CyberArk technologies and a strong understanding of access control, identity governance, and security best practices. Client Details Our client is Australia's leading health care providers, this organisation delivers hospital, aged care, and community services across multiple states, guided by a mission of compassion and social justice. Description Design, deploy, and maintain CyberArk PAM solutions across enterprise environments. Develop and manage CyberArk components including PVWA, CPM, PSM, PTA, and Conjur. Create and maintain custom connectors, plugins, and scripts (PowerShell, Python, REST APIs). Perform privileged account discovery, onboarding, and lifecycle management. Conduct regular audits, compliance checks, and disaster recovery testing. Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to align PAM strategies with organizational goals. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to privileged access and CyberArk infrastructure. Profile 7 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure. 5 years of hands-on experience with CyberArk PAM solutions. Strong knowledge of Windows, Linux/Unix systems, and network security. Familiarity with authentication protocols (LDAP, SAML, RADIUS), MFA, and PKI. Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) and RESTful APIs.
