Join one of Australia’s leading financial services firm Work closely with a high-performing fixed income team in a fast-paced market environment Dealing room role, responsible for supporting the sales function in all aspects of client onboarding, trade execution and data optimisation Our client is a leading, Australian financial services firm with a strong domestic presence and a global footprint in Asia and the Middle East. As part of continued business growth, the Fixed Income team is looking to add a Sales Assistant to support its international Fixed Income Sales and Trading division. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, this is a key role that sits at the heart of a top-tier fixed income business—widely recognised as a market leading distributor of credit and rates products. You’ll be embedded in a high-performing and collaborative team, working on the trading floor and supporting the daily flow of bond and derivative transactions, for both rates and credit. This role is ideal for someone who brings prior experience in fixed income or trading support and is looking to take on a dynamic, hands-on position with real ownership. The key responsibilities in this role include: Booking and confirming fixed income and derivative trades with precision and speed Acting as a key liaison between salespeople, traders, and clients to ensure seamless communication and execution Supporting the onboarding of new clients and maintaining client data integrity Assisting with sales initiatives, preparing client materials, and analysing data to support business decision-making Suitable backgrounds for this role include financial markets roles in global markets, trade execution, client service and/or operations. The ideal candidate will be process-driven, detail-oriented, and comfortable working under pressure in a market-facing environment. Ideally having a strong understanding of fixed income and financial markets, you will be able to manage competing priorities, communicate confidently with stakeholders, and contribute to team-wide efficiency and success.
