We’re seeking a skilled Network Engineer for a short-term contract in the southern suburbs of Brisbane to help design, implement, and support reliable and secure network solutions. Key Responsibilities: Design, configure, and maintain LAN, WAN, and wireless networks Troubleshoot network issues and provide timely resolutions Monitor network performance and ensure system availability and reliability Work with firewalls, routers, switches, and other networking hardware Implement security protocols and ensure compliance with standards Collaborate with internal teams and third-party vendors on network projects Document network architecture, processes, and procedures About You: Solid understanding of networking protocols (e.g. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, BGP, OSPF) Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or similar network hardware Familiar with network monitoring and diagnostic tools Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Relevant certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP) are a plus Excellent communication and teamwork skills For all Australian based contract and temporary roles, please note the pay rate is inclusive of mandatory 25% casual loading.
