Job Description As a Civil Design Engineer in our Gold Coast team, your focus will be on delivering comprehensive design and documentation for the civil design of freeways, rural, urban and local roads in relation to the broader urban development and active transport strategy. With a strong portfolio of projects in hand, as well as a significant project pipeline we are looking for the missing piece to complete our team and culture. You will be responsible for Delivery and coordination of projects and proposals, with the potential for both office and site-based works. Delivery of associated technical design work directly related to the active modes of transport, traffic engineering and civil infrastructure (roads). Design of major and minor drainage infrastructure with an understanding of hydrological principles with appropriate water management and treatments Project management across full-cycle of small-to-medium projects, supporting large projects as part of project team. Undertaking preliminary and final designs as well as prepare concept drawings, while also engaging in design and drawing reviews Supporting the well-being, development, and resourcing of team members. Participating in client management and business development. Playing an active role in the business groups through regular meetings, workshops, training and business planning.
