We are currently seeking a Cost Engineer on Perth to support project delivery across major resource, energy, and infrastructure developments. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse and technically challenging projects, from mining operations to LNG facilities and large-scale energy and telecommunications infrastructure. The role: As a Cost Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in project success through detailed cost control, analysis, and forecasting. You will be responsible for managing capital package costs, preparing data-driven reports, identifying trends, and implementing cost management systems. Responsibilities: Manage and monitor cost control for capital packages Perform cost trend analysis and develop accurate forecasts Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cost tracking systems Prepare and review budget allocations and contract cost data Coordinate and maintain consistent cost reporting across packages Generate reports and support routine cost control functions Provide budget and forecasting support for construction packages Work closely with project managers and multidisciplinary teams Support weekly reporting and scheduling requirements About You: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, or a related discipline 8–10 years of experience in cost engineering or project controls Significant practical experience can be considered in lieu of formal qualifications Strong background in EPCM or EPC project environments Skilled in cost estimating, control, and forecasting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities Proficiency in Microsoft Office; EcoSys or similar cost software highly regarded Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and startup (EPCS) processes Ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders If you meet the above criteria and are looking to join a dynamic team delivering major infrastructure projects, we’d love to hear from you.
