About the role: Reporting to the Senior Administrative Officer and Flinders Psychological Therapy Service Unit Manager, this role is responsible for maintaining an effective and efficient confidential secretarial and clerical support service to multidisciplinary team members within Flinders Psychological Therapy Services and FMC/Mental Health. The Administrative Officer is responsible for maintaining client records, scheduling appointments and answering telephone and counter enquiries, as well as liaising with staff, the public and other service providers. Duties for the role will include: Providing a customer focussed reception service to staff, consumers and visitors of the mental health service, Providing a confidential first point of contact for users of the service and reception service by answering and screening calls and attending to presentations at the counter, Contributing to the development of efficient and improved work practices through providing feedback and improving specific support procedures and processes including technology, file management and correspondence, Use of the Client Based Information System (CBIS) database ensuring confidentiality and the timely management of the data including registrations and discharges About you: Ability to maintain integrity and confidentiality by ensuring attention to detail, Experience in the provision of a range of administrative support functions, Proven experience using initiative in order to prioritise and meet deadlines, Be self-motivated and have the ability to work with limited supervision within a team environment Please see the attached Role Description for additional information.
