About the Role Due to the growth in our branch in Brisbane we are looking for the next superstar to join our amazing team as our HR/MR Bus Driver and Yard Person. This newly created role is to support and assist the team in the preparation of vehicles for delivery to the customer, and in accordance with the organisation’s strategic plan and objectives. It is an exciting opportunity for the right person and will be another integral member of our already busy operations. Some of the duties of the role will be - • Deliver buses to customers across Brisbane, Victoria, and other interstate locations • Relocate vehicles to and from external contractor premises for servicing or modification work • Conduct pre-delivery inspections to ensure vehicles meet specification and quality standards • Perform incoming inspections of new vehicles using detailed checklists • Photograph vehicles per company image standards • Assist with heavy vehicle registration processes • Accurately document and report non-conformances • Receive and inspect incoming freight, including offloading and verifying against documentation • Prepare and dispatch outgoing freight in line with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) obligations • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized yard and workshop area • Perform basic maintenance and preventive cleaning tasks around the facility • Actively promote and adhere to safe work practices • Support company sustainability initiatives • Follow all company procedures and legislative requirements including CoR and WHS regulations.
