The Role As a Structural/Mechanical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for equipment reliability, maintenance planning, and performance optimisation across a range of materials handling assets. Responsibilities include: Maintenance & Inspections: Conduct mechanical and structural inspections, identify faults, and develop long-term maintenance strategies. Equipment Reliability: Optimise the performance of balance machines, hydraulic systems, slew bearings, and conveyor structures. Site Involvement: Participate in shutdowns, refurbishments, commissioning, and ongoing site support. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and produce detailed technical reports. Refurbishments & Upgrades: Extend the life of OEM equipment through targeted upgrades and structural improvements. Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless execution of maintenance and upgrade projects.
