We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join a dynamic team supporting gas and renewable energy generation assets. This role involves asset management, compliance, and technical support to ensure optimal performance and reliability of energy infrastructure. You’ll work closely with operations, maintenance, projects, and condition monitoring teams to deliver engineering solutions that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements. Contract Duration: Up to 12 months initially Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain asset management plans and strategies. Conduct risk assessments and implement control measures. Lead technical investigations and provide engineering support for asset changes. Ensure compliance with environmental and industry regulations. Support capital investment planning and project delivery. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to optimise plant performance. Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance asset performance. Interpret and work with single line diagrams. Demonstrate strong on-site safety management experience. Lead projects from concept through to execution. Qualifications & Skills Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering. Experience in large industrial or commercial engineering environments. Heavy industry experience essential. Power generation or utility sector experience essential. Project lead experience required. Trade background would be highly advantageous. Ability to read and interpret single line diagrams. Strong understanding of asset management principles. Commercial acumen and environmental awareness. Desirable Experience Experience in large-scale energy generation. Familiarity with regulatory compliance and technical performance standards. Involvement in capital projects and due diligence processes. Additional Information This role requires frequent visits to operational sites and involves light physical activity (e.g., plant inspections). Medical test will be required.
