Senior ICT Infrastructure Engineer — South Yarra, Stonnington Area

ICT Infrastructure Engineers are senior IT resources that are responsible for the most complex ICT BAU and project ICT activities as well as the escalation point for ICT operations officers for incident and problem resolution and request fulfilment. Location: Canberra or Melbourne Key duties and responsibilities Resolve and/or work with vendors and service providers to resolve level 3 incidents and problems Assisting with the design and implementation of complex approved ICT requests Systems configuration, active monitoring and tuning to ensure meeting of service levels, high-availability, disaster recovery, cost and performance efficiency of the ICT infrastructure Work with other teams to: manage identity and access develop and implement security protocols and systems Report Security Incidents and assist with security investigations ensure compliance to policies, technology standards and best practices. This includes, but is not limited to meeting PSPF, Information Security Manual and Essential 8 Maturity Level 2 requirements Identify opportunities for and implement streamlining and automation within the environment Integrate approved software and emerging technologies with systems and applications Provide technical support to project teams and/or other change management teams Produce and/or review technical ICT architectural documents and detailed designs, relating to the network incorporating security measures, data protections and other requirements Stay abreast of industry technology developments Participate in governance activities Maintain currency of standard operating procedures, monitoring and reporting systems and other ICT operational tools. Mentor and develop talent within the teams, engaging in knowledge transfer activities as required to enhance the client's network and cyber management capabilities About You: Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience: managing Microsoft and Cloud-based IT infrastructure and system administration (i.e. Active Directory, Windows Servers, Azure IaaS and PaaS, M365) with backups and restore applications, tools and procedures (please specify applications and tools) managing LAN, WAN, WLAN (please specify vendors and device types) in an enterprise environment or government agency with a Windows 10- or Windows 11- based SOE Minimum 2 years’ experience managing Linux servers Demonstrable hands-on experience in the monitoring of networked devices and other assets, using monitoring applications and tools (please specify applications and tools) Demonstrable hands-on experience with Asset Management applications tools to manage an asset register (please specify applications and tools) Hands-on experience with InTune, application packaging and automated deployment At least 6 months’ experience in the use of ServiceNow for IT Service Management About Araza: Our organisation works with Australia’s largest enterprise and government clients providing project and program teams and resources to ensure success.
