THE OPPORTUNITY We are seeking a ServiceNow Application Engineer to join our ICT team. As part of this role, you will be working on innovative ServiceNow based projects for the service desk, customer engagement solutions and the optimisation of operational efficiency. We employ a hybrid work set up with flexible working options and 2 days working from home. Please note -We are open to candidates from Sydney/ Melbourne or Brisbane. Key Responsibilities Configure and develop tailored solutions within the ServiceNow platform, particularly across ITSM, CSM, and TPSM modules. This includes designing workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, record producers, and catalogue items to support operational needs. Lead the implementation and customization of Service Bridge integrations with both external service providers and customers. Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, ensuring seamless communication between systems and alignment with Service Bridge standards. Engage with internal stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements. Translate these into robust technical specifications and scalable solutions that meet current needs while aligning with the platform’s future-state architecture. Participate in design and architecture discussions to ensure alignment with ServiceNow best practices and governance standards. Conduct unit testing, support QA and UAT cycles, promptly resolve defects, and maintain detailed technical documentation. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues as they arise, including after-hours support for urgent application changes and deployments. Maintain system stability and ensure service continuity. Design and implement reliable, efficient, and future-ready solutions that meet customer requirements. Respond proactively to customer queries and ensure timely resolution of issues to enhance customer satisfaction. Work effectively in a team environment, taking ownership of assigned issues and leading troubleshooting efforts. Collaborate with remote development teams by providing guidance, resolving technical queries, and ensuring project momentum is maintained. Skills & Qualifications Extensive experience in ServiceNow development, with a strong focus on ITSM, CSM and TPSM. Mandatory experience with Service Bridge integration, including implementation and support for provider/consumer workflows. Proficient in JavaScript, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and Web Services (REST/SOAP). Experience in configuring TPSM elements such as engagement channels, commitments, and domain separation (where applicable). Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Integration Hub and spokes, especially those relevant to partner service integration. Knowledge of ServiceNow best practices with experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
